The VL 3000 includes all of the essential functions
required for the highest level of measurement and accurate
checking of corrective lenses. But, the VL 3000
offers significantly more. In fact, the VL 3000 offers
three different modes to help you save time and money.
This user-friendly lensmeter includes a color screen,
easy to use push buttons, on-line help and is available
and localized in 11 different languages. Finally, you
can offer better service to your customers.

What you can expect in Lensmeter Mode
|
Lensmeter
|
- Highest quality and level of measurement offered on the market today
- Fast centering of lenses
- Easy ability to mark axis for toric lenses
- Guided addition detection.
|
While working
in lensmeter mode, you can rapidly locate and measure
the optical center of the lens. This is critical when
measuring large batches of lenses. This operation only
takes a few seconds.
In addition, the design of the
VL
3000 allows the position of the axis and of the optical
center to be precisely located and marked with the highest
level of accuracy. This precision eliminates costly errors
before edging begins.
The sphere, cylinder and axis
values are prominently displayed and prism and prismatic
angle are also given.
Finally, the guided search for the
addition measurement of progressive lenses is accomplished easily and quickly.
What you can expect in Lens Mapping Mode
|
Mapping of a Lens
|
- Rapid detection in single vision lenses of unknown
characteristics (spherical or torical etc.). This
is illustrated through our special color mapping system
- Quick reading of the measurements for sphere, cylinder
and axis
- Design check and analysis of channel width on progressive
lenses. This valuable information helps you decide
which lens is most suitable for customer based on
their specific sight requirements
- Automatic addition measurement by placing the lens
on the holder, without any further interaction
|
Mapping of a fitting
for single vision lenses
|
- Visual representation of the final product can be
viewed and the final frame can be checked
- In one measurement, all mechanical and optical characteristics
for both eyes are shown in one picture, including
horizontal and vertical pupillary distances for single
vision frames, as well as spherical, cylinder, axis and prism
measurements
|
Mapping of a fitting for progressive lenses
|
- Accurate measurement of all optical information
including the addition and the direction of the channel, as well as PD measurements
- View of schematic representation (identical for
each lens, regardless of power) outlining the direction
of the progressive corridor
- Separate graph displaying the curve of the power
of the lens along the progressive corridor and the
difference between the power of the near and far vision
values
|
Mapping of a fitting for bifocal lenses
|
- Fast one step measurement of additions in Bifocal frames
- Provides all optical and mechanical characteristics of the frame at the press of a single button
- Shows schematic representation of the frame
- Displays spherical, cylinder, axis, and addition measurements
- Provided complete PD and Net Vertical Prism information, all at the press of a single button

What you can expect from U.V.

As an optional feature, the
VL 3000 provides
an analyzer of UV spectrum. This analyzer indicates
the spectral transmission of an unknown lens from the
UV up to the near IR.
Graphically, you can also view
the lens you are measuring in comparison to the worldwide
acceptable standards.
